I have had a makeup brush in my hand since 6 years old. Makeup has been who I am for as long as I can remember. I watched my mother and grandmother both apply makeup everyday, watched makeup on TV, and later in life practiced on friends for prom and other events. I decided in high school that beauty was the path I would take and it’s been history from there.

I pursued my passion and trained with Bare Escentuals and MAC Cosmetics, obtained a license in cosmetology from the Paul Mitchell School in 2009, and have taken courses from various artists in the industry who inspire me to become a better artist. I took all that I had learned and I created S.R. Artistry in 2011.

Since 2013, I have been specializing in bridal makeup and have fallen completely in love with making every woman look their most beautiful on the most special day of their life.

The most rewarding part of my job is when my client looks in the mirror and sees the final product. I love that I am able to look at a person and replicate the beauty that I envision. Makeup is so much more than lipstick and eye shadow, it’s so special to me and I am so lucky to be chosen to take this journey!
